Curriculum Description
Math Leaders Pre-Algebra Class Our Pre-Algebra class helps students build a strong foundation in algebra and prepare for success in higher-level math. We focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and applying math to real-life situations. Students will learn: • Operations with integers and rational numbers • Expressions, equations, and inequalities • Ratios, proportions, and percentages • Factors, multiples, and exponents • Coordinate plane and graphing • Basic geometry concepts (angles, area, volume) • Problem-solving strategies and logical reasoning This class is ideal for students in upper elementary or middle school who are ready to move beyond basic arithmetic and build the skills needed for Algebra 1.
Cancellation Policy
Math Clinic (Make-Up Session) Policy - Math Clinic sessions are offered to support students who miss their regularly scheduled weekday classes. - Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. - Math Clinic functions as a make-up session, not a replacement for regular classes. - Attendance is by availability and reservation only, and space is limited. - Make-up sessions are intended for review, guided practice, and reinforcement of missed content. - Missed classes do not guarantee a one-to-one replacement session. - Unused make-up opportunities do not carry over and are not refundable.
